Camden Community Center in Cambrian Park

The Camden Community Center, located 3369 Union Ave, is at the heart of social life of the San Jose Cambrian Park neighborhood.

This public facility in Cambrian Park boasts a dance studio (offering ballet, tap, hip hop dance lessons in particular), a game room (with 2 pool tables, table tennis facilities, computers, etc), a gymnasium, a fitness center and a Children Center (for early childhood recreation) among other things. Multi-purpose rooms are also available to rent for private events (diner, weddings, parties, etc).It is worth noting that rates for many of the activities available are very affordable.

I recommend in particular the outdoor Friday Nights with Free Movie Series every Friday in July (sponsored by the Cambrian Park Kiwanis Club), ideal for San Jose families and kid nights' out in Cambrian Park.

The Cambrian Park Library Branch, located 1780 Camden Ave. (opened Tue-Sat, closed Sun,-Mon) is home to many music, scrapbooking and reading events every week.

The Cambrian Park Farmer's market, opened every Wednesday between 4pm and 8pm from May to September is a popular destination for organic produce among Cambrian Park Residents.
